Being insecure about your smile can affect the way you interact with people and hold you back from really enjoying life! Many people have gaps in their teeth and never look for a solution. However, with mini dental implants, you can have the smile you’ve been dreaming of in just one to two visits to our office. Mini implants are individual titanium posts that are set into the jawbone to stabilize dentures or replacement teeth. These implants not only improve the appearance of your smile, but also keep your other teeth from moving out of place. This can save you from further complications down the road. If you are interested in learning more about mini dental implants, call our office today to set up a Free Consultation!

A – The difference between traditional dental implants and mini dental implants is the size of the implant itself. Mini dental implants are simply a few millimeters smaller in diameter than conventional dental implants. However, both of these types of implants are made from titanium that naturally fuses to your jawbone through a process known as osseointegration. Mini dental implants are most commonly used to stabilize bottom dentures, but the smaller-diameter implants can be used in different areas of your mouth.

A – The standard approach for mini dental implants is to place four of them into the front of the patient’s lower jaw. This is a reasonably painless and noninvasive procedure that Dr. Tally can complete between one to two visits. The mini dental implants are placed about five millimeters apart in the lower jawbone, and are roughly the size of a toothpick! Dr. Tally will then carefully adjust your denture to allow it to snap onto the four mini implants.

A – Many people who wear dentures suffer from loose or ill-fitting dentures. Along with being somewhat embarrassing, this also causes problems eating certain foods. Mini dental implants allow dentures to fit snugly in your mouth, while also providing stability to your dentures.

A – Give us a call today to schedule a consultation and find out if you are ready for mini implants. Key considerations are general good health and satisfactory bone in the jaw. Anyone who is missing one or more teeth because of injury, disease or decay may find mini implants to be the perfect solution.

A – At our office, we strive to make you as relaxed as possible. Throughout the entire implant process, Dr. Tally and the rest of our team will help you feel comfortable and stay pain-free! We offer sedation options to make every appointment a great experience and keep you out of discomfort!

What Others Are Saying

“My family and I have spent many hours in various dental chairs over the years due to several dental health issues. We have gladly landed to stay in Dr Tally’s chair! The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, careful, thorough, and genuinely kind. I also love that treatment is spelled out clearly beforehand and options are given whenever possible.”

“Well today was my first appointment at Tally Dental Excellence. And I have to say it went terrific. From the moment I walked in the front door I was made to feel right at home. The staff there are wonderful, everyone from the front desk staff to the assistant that helped me today were all friendly and smiling. They are really professional there. Dr. Tally himself made me feel right at home, he took his time with me and explained what needed to be done. I never felt pressured by him at all. I have to say I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family in the Downriver area. I look forward to my next appointment there!!!!”
